This project will build the competence and operational capacity for a new national sandbox capability for multimodal precision-medicine tools within Analytic Imaging Diagnostics Arena (AIDA) Data Hub (SciLifeLab, Linköping). It will expand AIDA's mandate from imaging-focused data sharing to a comprehensive precision medicine framework, extending the infrastructure from file-based storage towards structured patient data linked to molecular profiles – enabling data-driven, targeted therapeutic selection for individual patients.

This project brings together SPRINTR-Real (data and ethical framework), AIDA Data Hub (host platform and technical infrastructure), and Genomic Medicine Sweden (non-academic partner and clinical uptake pathway), with industry partners and the European Association of Urology  as stakeholders

The project aims to build a sandbox – a secure and governed infrastructure within AIDA Data Hub where sensitive multimodal patient data can be stored, harmonized, and made accessible to approved users from academia, healthcare, and industry – supported by national GPU compute and fine-grained access control. Within this infrastructure, multiple multimodal tools, including TissUUmaps and molecular tumour board systems, will operate in a coordinated manner on shared datasets, and the sandbox performance will be validated through evaluation of clinical decision-support tools as well as development of a digital pathology tool for identifying genetic markers. Finally, the project will deliver a reusable methodology and service model with standardized onboarding routines, governance templates, and a clear implementation pathway to facilitate broader dissemination and clinical adoption of successful tools.
